Marjorie is one of several writers asked to write a short piece and perform it as part of the merger of writers and improvisers that is “This Improvised Life.” The brainchild of Deena Nyer Mendlowitz, this show will feature several writers all performing a short reading centered on one topic, followed by improv performed to highlight some of the more interesting bits they have just heard. Show is Saturday, August 6th at Big Dog Theater at 9 p.m. More info at www.bigdogtheater.com.

The Angry Ladies of Improv will play the Pandemonium festival at Cleveland Public Theatre September 10th. Contact CPT for tickets, which are $135 each, and more info. This will be Marjorie’s first time attending, let alone performing. It’s going to be grand! It will mark the Angry Ladies of Improv’s fourth show in three months.

Marjorie reviewed “The Rocky Horror Show” musical production up at Chagrin Valley Little Theatre. It is now available at this link or in the Chagrin Solon Sun newspaper.

We played it last year, and they must like us. Rockwell 9 has gotten the go-ahead to perform in the Del Close Marathon of improv for a second year. Our show is on Friday, August 12 at 11:30 p.m. at Hudson Guild. If you have satellite radio, drill down on the website to find out how to listen to the festival on your satellite radio and get what you pay for! At a minimum, you can get highlights on the “Raw Dog” channel throughout the festival. More info is at this link.

The Angry Ladies of Improv are road tripping to Columbus! We have been invited to play an improv festival in Columbus called “Columbus Unscripted” and more information is available at this link. We know we will play Sunday, August 21st in the evening but do not have a set time yet.

The Angry Ladies of Improv improv comedy troupe, of which Marjorie is a member, will perform on August 26 at Big Dog Theater in Cleveland Heights. Save the Date! More info to come, including our opening act, as yet to be determined.
